The New Head Quarter of Aljouf Aljadid Co. was opened Misurata. The new base will contain the head quarter offices, the fleet service centre, and a training room all in one compound in order to improve communication efficiency.


 

The Company finished training and qualification of its personnel in the scope of light and heavy transport, lifting and rigging works, as well training them on the principles of safety, fire fighting and first aid. In this  scope some Training courses were performed in coordination with international institutions experienced in the scope of training such as (Sparrows Offshore) Company, the Scotch North Sea Company Ltd. (NSL) and safety technical Services Co. LLC , besides some other companies specialized in the training and  qualification programs related to the company's activities.


 

The Company provided (72) of well trained and high skilled manpower in different specializations of offshore works for Woodside Energy (NA) Ltd. Where (113,268) hrs. Of continuous work have been fulfilled (24\7) without any accidents or lost time injuries (LTI), the matter which deemed as a distinguished achievement compared with the size of the executed works, nature and risks of the activities which are considered to some extent as new especially in Misurata area. 


 

The Company constructed a prefabricated building, area of (1548.875) sq.mtr. and also constructed a prefabricated metal cover, area (405) sq.mtr. over the tennis court as accompanying utilities for the first American School of Tripoli (AST) during the year 2008 according to an approved engineering studies corresponding to the highest criteria of HSE. The company executed the civil and construction works depending on skilled & specialized group of Libyan engineers and technicians and also the personnel of the contracting companies without any occurrence of recordable occupational injuries.


 

A special department was recently originated to take care of HSE affairs due to the necessity to preserve the safety of personnel, establishments and environment in addition to preparation and application of HSE affairs system in harmony with the requirements   of laws, regulations and Libya as well.


 

The Company provided an onshore supply base for  Petro Canada Co. in the city of Misurata with a total area of (130000) sq.mtr. including all civil works, supply of soil, electric works and the civil constructions. All of that in addition to the provision of machinery and all rigging & lifting equipments (forklifts, telescopic crones) and transportation facilities.


 

The Company provided Shell Exploration & Production  Co. with accessible administration offices in addition to technical manpower trained in the scope of hoisting/rigging and some   other telescopic lifting  machinery.


 

The Company provided Joud Libya Company, operating in favour of the American Exxon Mobil Co., with a comprehensive yard for the offshore works and handling composed of two docks (50/125) mtr. Length, covered warehouse (2500) sq.mtr, and an open storage yard of approx. (38000) sq.mtr. area including  all facilities such as (  standby power generators, water and fuel tanks, administration offices, restaurant, water closets "W.Cs" , three Entry and Exit gates…etc) besides trained technical personnel required for the site, all plant and equipment necessary for the lifting operations


 

The Company provided temporary storage yard and rigging operations in favour of the German Co. Wintershall with area of (4000) sq.mtr. Including a warehouse of (300)sq.mtr.


 

The Company contracted with Jaslo Co. of Poland for the provision of (1) telescopic crane 60T capacity and (1) forklift of 7T capacity for its site at Marada area.


 

Aljouf Aljadid Co. launches its new website on May-5-2009. The new bilingual website includes comprehensive information about the company's services, clients, and fleet.


 

Representatives from Aljouf's Brega and Tripoli offices participated in Shell's five days workshop entitled (Improving Leadership for HSSE Supervisors).


 

The HSE Steering Committee in Aljouf Aljadid Co. is studying the life safety rules that Shell E&P requires its contractors to comply with. The company's HSSE Dept. in cooperation with the Projects and Technical Services Dept. started putting the executive procedures to be implemented before the end of June-2009.


 
The HSSE Dept will start publishing the company's Social Responsibility Statistics from June 2009.

 
Aljouf Aljadid contracts with The Pharos Group; a reputable European training house to provide Defensive Driving Courses for all of its drivers.

 
Aljouf Aljadid management team visited Libya Insurance Co. to update its knowledge about local insurance laws.
