Aljouf Aljadid for Transportation and Oil Services had developed a unique HSSE Management system that reflects its concern in all aspects of HSSE. This system is supported by the mechanisms needed to insure that current HSSE information are always available and up-to-date by utilizing information and communication technology in carrying out the company's activities.

Even though the company believes that implementing modern HSSE policies in Libya may require months if not years, the company has a number of HSSE documents that describes the procedures that are currently implemented while working hardly to implement more strict procedures.

Aljouf's employees' health is of utmost importance. Various programs are implemented to ensure that the working and living environments are not hazardous or detrimental to an individual's health. These include health and hygiene inspections, medical checks, health risk assessments, noise assessments, general health awareness programs and other specifically targeted studies and training programs.

Aljouf Aljadid has maintained a remarkable safety performance record over the past years. The company lost time injury frequency rate compares very favorably with other international and local oil and gas producing companies. Aljouf has provided 72 of trained workers to Wood Side Energy Ltd. during its operations in Sert Basin in 2006. Total of (113.268) man-hours were utilized 24/7/360 without any Lost Time Injury.
