The department supervises the protective maintenance for vehicles, daily check up and refer to the technical department in case of need for technical consultant.

It also supervises and follows up the company's training office in regard to all drivers having obtained the certificate of attendance for the Defensive Driving Course in the scope of driving light and heavy transport vehicles.

Furthermore, it provides direct supervision of the company's maintenance workshop in Misurata including maintenance and repair of the transport vehicles, lifting facilities, machines and equipment of different types besides coordination with Projects & Technical Services Department to provide all spare parts and the required maintenance facilities, classification and storage thereof in the company's warehouses the matter which maximize acceleration and competence of repair operations in due time.

Among the assignments of the company's transport department is to ascertain that all company vehicles are equipped with the security and firmness devices such as (safety belts, GPRS system, rollover protection, fire extinguishers, first aid kit in addition to communication card for emergency).
